About Our Studio

Serving the architectural needs of the Catholic Church

Sacro Sanctum had its inception in 2023 when four Catholic architects — Greg Nagel, Ken Shane, Deacon Brian Witteman, and Peter Budnik — came together out of love for their faith and frustration with the offerings for sacred architecture available in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

Fully incorporated in 2025, Sacro Sanctum aims to serve the architectural needs of the Catholic Church in Milwaukee and beyond to any location in the country by collaborating with Church leadership and all constituents to deliver projects that reflect the timeless principles that undergird our faith. Each partner brings a unique perspective and level of depth to every project.
