St. Michael's Parish-Nave and Sanctuary Renovation
Kewaskum, Wisconsin
St. Michael's parish in a small town in rural Wisconsin was built in the 1950's and was definitely of its time, lacking a connection to the rich history of beautiful Church architecture. This renovation brings a connection back to that history in a simplified manner that harmonizes with the existing space. The Sanctuary renovation features a reredos that focuses on the beautiful new Tabernacle and large Crucifix (retained from the original space and built by a parishioner). Existing statuary is featured in the new side altars, giving them more prominence and making them available for devotion.
